FUNDEMAR works at all levels to conserve marine ecosystems and resources, from research to education of the local communities and their integration into its various projects through the establishment of alliances with community members, businesses, and local, national, and international institutions.
Research

Research of coastal ecosystems (health of coral reefs, mangroves, marine prairies, beaches, rocky coasts)

Research about the populations of marine mammals.
Ecotourism
We work with local dive shops in Bayahibe to offer a certification in the restoration of coral reefs. This course provides us with sustainable funds to support our conservation activities and supports the responsible dive centers in the area. Our Partners include:
